AMTF’s first face-to-face meeting date set for January 11-13, 2011

XII announced the XBRL Abstract Model initiative several weeks ago in Beijing - see XBRL International Launches Abstract Modeling Group during XBRL21 in Beijing. Many organizations have already indicated a desire to participate in the AMTF, including leading software vendors, accounting firms, regulators, and systems integrators. The first face-to-face meeting of the AMTF is scheduled for January 11-13, 2011 at the Boston area offices of Object Management Group, the developer of the UML standard for developing abstract models. XII would like to thank OMG for is generous contribution to host the AMTF’s first meeting at its offices.
