Mr. Bruno Tesnière is a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit, France and PricewaterhouseCoopers Global XBRL joint leader. Bruno Tesnière has, since 2000, contributed to the development of XBRL through participation to the consortium.
He is a member of the IASCF XBRL "Panel of Experts" who advanced the development of the IFRS taxonomy. He chairs the steering committee of an European consortium of seven organizations including the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation, XBRL UK and XBRL NL supported by the European Commission to speed up the development and adoption of XBRL in Europe.

Louis Matherne
President of XBRL International. |
Mr. Louis Matherne is the President of XBRL International and the Director – XBRL, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves as a member of the XBRL International Steering Committee and the XBRL U.S. Steering Committee.
He is one of a dozen participants that have been active in XBRL from its inception. Today, XBRL International is a not for profit consortium with approximately 300 members in 15 member jurisdictions around the world.

Kurt Ramin
Chair of XBRL International.

Mr. Kurt Ramin is currently Chair of the XBRL International Steering Committee and Vice Chair of XBRL in Europe. He is the first Commercial Director of the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation, based at the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) in London, and was until recently a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Before moving to London, he spent ten years in PwC’s New York office working in their Capital Markets Practice. Prior to that, he served as CFO to several different companies in the USA and Germany.
Kurt holds an MBA from Central Michigan University and a BA from Fachhochschule Cologne, Germany. He is a CPA (New York) and a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) through Wharton School.

José-Maria Roldan

Mr. José-Maria Roldán is the Director General of Banking Regulation of the Bank of Spain and member of its Executive Board since October 2000. Since January 2004, he is also Chairman of the Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS), and since April 2004, Chairman of XBRL Spain. He is currently a member of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, and the Banking Supervision Committee.
In 2002 and 2003 he chaired the Joint Forum during the tenure of the Basel Committee of Banking Supervision (BCBS). From June 2000 and until July 2001, he was the President of FATF (Financial Action Task Force Against Money Laundering). He also chaired the Banking Advisory Committee (BAC) during 2003.

Pierre-Yves Thoraval

Mr. Pierre-Yves Thoraval is, since November 2003, Deputy Secretary general of the French Banking Commission at Bank of France. Mr Thoraval is also Member of the Basle Committee BSC, of the Joint Forum, the Core Principles Liaison and of the Model Task Force, he is the Head of Basle working group 1 on internal ratings, a Member of the Steering Group on Core Principles and the Head of CEBS working group on common european reporting ("COREP").
Mr Thoraval is at Bank of France since 1976 and at the General Secretary of the French Banking Commission since 1985.

Gerald Santucci

Mr. Gérald Santucci has been working in the Information Society Directorate-General of the European Commission since February 1986.
The portfolio of ongoing and planned RTD projects covers the following areas: Reference models and technologies for business networking; Technologies for digital ecosystems supporting regional growth and business innovation; Ambient intelligence technologies for the product lifecycle; Interoperability in business.
His previous activities includes heading of the Unit “Trust and Security” during 2003 and “Applications relating to Administrations” Unit from 1999 to 2002.
He holds a B.A. from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris, and a Ph.D. in Microeconomics from the University of Paris-XII.

Tom Jones
Vice-Chairman of the International Accounting Standards Board. |
Mr. Thomas Jones was appointed to the International Accounting Standards Board in January 2001. He has nearly 40 years of experience in various aspects of international financial reporting. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the United Kingdom while working with Peat Marwick Mitchell. By 1980, he had held various senior financial positions in Brussels and in Italy.
In those positions, he had responsibility for financial reporting in various European countries including Belgium, France, Greece, Italy and Portugal. From 1980, he was with Citicorp, which operates in over 100 countries, first as chief accounting officer and then as principal financial officer.

Peter Praet

Mr. Peter Praet is a member of the management committee of CBFA (Belgian Banking, Finance and Insurance Commission) and large number of top level working groups and committees on international affairs including the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, the Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems and others. He is an alternate member of the committee of G10 governors and the International Monetary and Financial Committee.
He was previously an economist at the IMF in the African department and the research department and also professor of economics at Université Libre de Belgique. He was chief economist at General Bank (subsequently Fortis Bank) from 1987 to 1999 and from 1999 to 2000 he was chief of staff to the minister of finance.

Mr. Federico Florez has over 20 years of experience in IT sector. He is currently Director of IT at the Bank of Spain. He is a member of the IT Committee of the European Central Banks, Managing Director XBRL Spain and member of the Executive Board of XBRL International.
Mr. Florez was previously working for Telefonica, Alcatel and IBM.
He holds Master in Business Administration and Computer Science. He is an author of several publications and articles in specialized magazines.

John Tattersall

Mr. John Tattersall is chairman of Financial Services Regulatory Practice at PwC LLP and also of its Banking and Capital Markets Technical Forum. He is also a member of the firm’s global banking and capital markets technical committee. He is responsible for the firm’s relationship with a number of major banks, capital markets institutions and other financial services firms including the Financial Services Authority, Citigroup, Standard Chartered and CSFB, and has specialized in that sector since becoming a partner in 1985.
He is a member of the Prudential Sourcebook Advisory Group of the Financial Services Authority and also of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales Banking Sub-Committee. He lectures and writes frequently on regulatory issues and was consultant editor of “A Practitioner’s Guide to the FSA Regulation of Banks” and “A Practitioner’s Guide to the Basel Accord”.

He is also a key contact for Deutsche Bank accounting model. Mr Liesegang is Deutsche Bank's representative within XBRL Germany.

Walter Hamsher

Mr. Walter Hamscher is the President and CEO of Standard Advantage, a consultancy that helps organizations to achieve the cost savings and increased flexibility available to them through strategic commitments to technology standards.
He is a co-author of the XBRL specification and several other XBRL International publications, Vice-Chair and Past Chair of the XBRL International Steering Committee, and a consultant to PricewaterhouseCoopers. Walter received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Walter Hamscher designed the architecture of the COREP taxonomy and has advised the project team on compliance with the XBRL specification and other standards.

Luca Filippa

Mr. Luca Filippa is graduated in Economics and Statistics at the Rome University in 1987. In 1989 he joined Consob (the Italian Securities Commission), in the Economic Research Department, where he dealt with capital markets analysis, financial statistics and taxation.
In 1994 he moved to the Research Department of the Italian Stock Exchange Council (after the 1997 privatisation, Borsa Italiana), where he dealt with economic research, market analysis, statistics, taxation and euro project. In 1997 he was appointed Director of Research & Development; his tasks include corporate strategy, exchange industry analysis, markets statistics, economic research and taxation. Since 2002 he is Vice-Chairman of the Economics and Statistics Sub-Committee of FESE (Federation of European Securities Exchanges).

Mr. Olivier Servais is the XBRL in Europe Permanent Secretary, who is coordinating the XBRL developments within the 25 countries from all over Europe, with funds granted by the European Commission under the 6th Framework Programme.
Since 19 Nov 2004, Olivier is Member At Large of the XBRL International Steering Committee (ISC) that conducts the strategy of XBRL International. He has been an independent consultant via Chato d’O since 2000.
